swipes: a friendr meme

Any new arrival to the city has seen the ad for a free app popping up on their devices, and anyone who's been around for a while probably has a profile and has used it a bit. It's almost universal in the city - Friendr, a friend-finder and/or dating app. If characters choose to install it, they will fill out a short bio and parameters for what they're looking for, upload a snap of themselves, and then proceed to browse for matches. This is a typical swipe-left-or-right type app. The default color scheme can be seen below, but the Friendr app has a wide variety of themes, so feel free to customize with colors and patterns as you see fit, but do not remove the credit line out of respect for the creator of the code.

It was exceedingly dangerous. I was fortunate to see many fascinating animals on the voyage North, however, and to meet some of the Native people of that land.

I do not know if there are any Oceans or Seas on this moon; perhaps someday we shall discover some, and you may see them then.

For what purpose would that be necessary?

In the case of Disease, to confirm the illness of which the individual died. In the case of Murder or other crime, knowing the means by which the crime was committed may confirm the identity of the murderer.

For example, in my own World, I once examined a man who had been killed ostensibly by Natives of the northern Arctic. But an examination of the contents of his stomach showed that they had shared their food with him, and they are not men who would callously murder a guest whom they had fed. Thus I could conclude that the Murderer had been a man of the victim's own party.

I hope that I may. The tales I heard of the sea were such fantastic ones. Though, in sooth, some of the reason for that may have rested in the tellers.
