prijata pregaming meme
Hi everyone! Welcome to the Prijata Pregame post!
Prijata is a holiday in Riverview celebrating platonic love - essentially, it's a celebration of friendship, geared at showing appreciation for existing friends and finding new ones. One of the main staples of Prijata is gift giving, and the Government of Riverview gets into the spirit of it by giving small gifts to residents as well.

The pregaming post is here to help plan for the gifts your characters will give and receive at the holiday! Here's how to use the pregaming post:
● Post a top-level with your character's name.
● Tag other characters with gifts that your character will give theirs during Prijata.
● Alternately, leave a player suggestion of a small gift for the other character to receive, even if you don't have CR.
While gifts from one character to another can be whatever the character would give, gift suggestions for items to come from the Government should be relatively small, and can include vouchers for services in Riverview, small items, or generic items from the character's canon. For example, a character could not receive their mother's locket for Prijata, but they could get a tube of their favorite brand of lipstick from home.
The one catch to the pregame post? In the spirit of the holiday, you cannot suggest gifts for your own characters, not even government-given ones. All suggestions should go out to other characters!
what does it look like to characters?
From the character's perspective, on the first day of the Prijata celebration, they will receive a basket from the government of any suggested gifts. There will be a similar prompt on the monthly mingle for newly arrived characters to receive gifts and gift suggestions after their acceptance in the June app cycle.
For gift-giving between characters with existing CR, this can be played out however the two players want - handwaved, played on the Prijata mingle, a private log, IC inbox, or whatever works best!
