Hi everyone! Welcome to the Prijata Pregame post!

Prijata is a holiday in Riverview celebrating platonic love - essentially, it's a celebration of friendship, geared at showing appreciation for existing friends and finding new ones. One of the main staples of Prijata is gift giving, and the Government of Riverview gets into the spirit of it by giving small gifts to residents as well.

The pregaming post is here to help plan for the gifts your characters will give and receive at the holiday! Here's how to use the pregaming post:

● Post a top-level with your character's name.
● Tag other characters with gifts that your character will give theirs during Prijata.
● Alternately, leave a player suggestion of a small gift for the other character to receive, even if you don't have CR.

While gifts from one character to another can be whatever the character would give, gift suggestions for items to come from the Government should be relatively small, and can include vouchers for services in Riverview, small items, or generic items from the character's canon. For example, a character could not receive their mother's locket for Prijata, but they could get a tube of their favorite brand of lipstick from home.

The one catch to the pregame post? In the spirit of the holiday, you cannot suggest gifts for your own characters, not even government-given ones. All suggestions should go out to other characters!

what does it look like to characters?

From the character's perspective, on the first day of the Prijata celebration, they will receive a basket from the government of any suggested gifts. There will be a similar prompt on the monthly mingle for newly arrived characters to receive gifts and gift suggestions after their acceptance in the June app cycle.

For gift-giving between characters with existing CR, this can be played out however the two players want - handwaved, played on the Prijata mingle, a private log, IC inbox, or whatever works best!

He got serious presents last year so this year he gets a mug, some equivalent of Cards Against Humanity, a bottle of very nice wine and some ugly but surprisingly tasty frosted, sugar cookies.

A leather-bound book with cleaned up copies of all of Hiccup's dragon knowledge and sketches, and another leather-bound book with more Norse-style designs embossed on the front cover and blank pages inside for whatever Loki would want to put in it. An intricate metal belt buckle set with small green stones that glow constantly from within. And a home-made, somewhat clumsy but still tasty, honey mead apple cake. It's all hand-made because viking child doesn't think about going to the store to buy things.

He's going to get Loki six mini cakes with various surprise fillings, like sprinkles, cream, etc. One is going to be spicy because Loki needs a surprise now and then. It's only fair.

And because they don't really do it ever, Steve is going to cook him dinner and bring him up on the roof for a nice evening. Just hanging out with the stars. An experience is still a gift! And also one of his Cap-themed T-shirts because he knows you want it.

These allow the user to multiply anything three times, cast a semi-permanent illusion that lasts three months before beginning to fade, and a summon for three ravenous monsters around the size of a car.
