swipes: a friendr meme

Any new arrival to the city has seen the ad for a free app popping up on their devices, and anyone who's been around for a while probably has a profile and has used it a bit. It's almost universal in the city - Friendr, a friend-finder and/or dating app. If characters choose to install it, they will fill out a short bio and parameters for what they're looking for, upload a snap of themselves, and then proceed to browse for matches. This is a typical swipe-left-or-right type app. The default color scheme can be seen below, but the Friendr app has a wide variety of themes, so feel free to customize with colors and patterns as you see fit, but do not remove the credit line out of respect for the creator of the code.

It's good to have people from home, people who know you as someone beyond the hero.

Homo sapiens superior, but we're more commonly known as mutants. As you can imagine, humans fear us because of our powers. If you want to know more details, it'd be easier to discus in person.

Definitely a challenge. I already had the pleasure of beating Thor.

You're not wrong. Thor tends to be a little swing first. But a lot of the time it comes down to who has the best strategy.

As long as he hasn't multiplied while I wasn't looking, yes. He's one of mine.

That's why I prefer working with a team. We all got our strengths and weaknesses. Best to balance them all out by working together.

He doesn't strike me as one for math, so I think you're on the money.

I've only tried their cherry and apple so far. Both were good.

Really? I have to say I agree. It's not always easy, but I do believe that we're a stronger force when we're fighting as a unit.

I'm honestly not even sure what kind of education they gave in Asgard. It's hard to believe it would be something as ordinary as mathematics.

I'll have to see if the live up to mine. Though I admit I prefer pecan pie myself.

Easy is subjective, but no matter my feelings, the safety of civilians and innocents is still priority. A well balanced team will be more effective. Plus, the more they train together the more cohesive they are during an incident, regardless of whether or not personalities are meshing.

Hold on, I'm imagining Thor learning calculus.

You sound like you speak from a lot of experience. And you basically just described my team. Personalities clash all over the place, and have from the start. But the more time we spend together the better we get as a team. It's funny how that works.

He's a prince. King now, actually. I'm sure he had better things to worry about.

That's basically our team back home too. Though some people will always work better together than others, but that's usually cause they enjoy spending time together.

You'd be surprised how often math matters even to royalty.
