swipes: a friendr meme
swipes: a friendr memeAny new arrival to the city has seen the ad for a free app popping up on their devices, and anyone who's been around for a while probably has a profile and has used it a bit. It's almost universal in the city - Friendr, a friend-finder and/or dating app. If characters choose to install it, they will fill out a short bio and parameters for what they're looking for, upload a snap of themselves, and then proceed to browse for matches. This is a typical swipe-left-or-right type app. The default color scheme can be seen below, but the Friendr app has a wide variety of themes, so feel free to customize with colors and patterns as you see fit, but do not remove the credit line out of respect for the creator of the code.

● This meme is for characters already accepted into the game to window shop other characters' Friendrs while they're all gathered conveniently into one place.
● This meme is GAME CANON, so any threads played out in this meme can be carried through into the actual canon of the game.

Are you a friend of his?

You got a name you'd be willing to share?
[He assumes she'd already know both of his from knowing the other guy. Not that Steve Rogers has ever been a secret identity in his own world.]

Name's Rogue.
[She does, but she's trying not to make it too weird with that knowledge.]
no subject
[At least, as far as he's gathered.]
X-Men? Is that another team of heroes?
Nice to meet you, Rogue.

Yes, made almost exclusively of mutants.
[It's still unsettling that mutants don't seem to exist in some of the Avengers' universes.]
Pleasure so far. I'll have to see which of y'all holds up better in a sparing match.

Mutants? I feel like that must mean something different to you then it does to me.
Is that a challenge? If so I gladly accept.
no subject
Definitely a challenge. I already had the pleasure of beating Thor.
no subject
Really? I'm sure he took that gracefully.
[He knows Thor can be a sore loser at times.]

He says I cheated. I say winning a fight ain't always about who's stronger and faster.
We're good though. The Thor here, is he from your universe?
[That and she's learned not to put all her cards on the table, and to improvise.]

You're not wrong. Thor tends to be a little swing first. But a lot of the time it comes down to who has the best strategy.
As long as he hasn't multiplied while I wasn't looking, yes. He's one of mine.

That's why I prefer working with a team. We all got our strengths and weaknesses. Best to balance them all out by working together.
He doesn't strike me as one for math, so I think you're on the money.

Really? I have to say I agree. It's not always easy, but I do believe that we're a stronger force when we're fighting as a unit.
I'm honestly not even sure what kind of education they gave in Asgard. It's hard to believe it would be something as ordinary as mathematics.

Easy is subjective, but no matter my feelings, the safety of civilians and innocents is still priority. A well balanced team will be more effective. Plus, the more they train together the more cohesive they are during an incident, regardless of whether or not personalities are meshing.
Hold on, I'm imagining Thor learning calculus.

You sound like you speak from a lot of experience. And you basically just described my team. Personalities clash all over the place, and have from the start. But the more time we spend together the better we get as a team. It's funny how that works.
He's a prince. King now, actually. I'm sure he had better things to worry about.
no subject
[Because that's where it's at.]
That's basically our team back home too. Though some people will always work better together than others, but that's usually cause they enjoy spending time together.
You'd be surprised how often math matters even to royalty.
