Any new arrival to the city has seen the ad for a free app popping up on their devices, and anyone who's been around for a while probably has a profile and has used it a bit. It's almost universal in the city - Friendr, a friend-finder and/or dating app. If characters choose to install it, they will fill out a short bio and parameters for what they're looking for, upload a snap of themselves, and then proceed to browse for matches. This is a typical swipe-left-or-right type app. The default color scheme can be seen below, but the Friendr app has a wide variety of themes, so feel free to customize with colors and patterns as you see fit, but do not remove the credit line out of respect for the creator of the code.

Not quite the basement, we have our own nick. But staffing is a bit hard when most people don't know magic exists.

What kind of things do you normally see? Just people using magic illegally? Murdering witch doctor kind of things?

The ethically challenged practitioner is a pretty big deal, considering he managed to dynamite a whole apartment complex.

But otherwise...promise you won't try to section me, but everything. Ghosts, spirits, vampires. Societies living underground. The Rivers. There's more, I'm sure.

But dynamite seems like something the police would be concerned about with or without magic. Part of the training, right?

No demons, so far as I or my boss are aware. And he'd know better than me.

It probably wouldn't mean much to you if I said I understand, but I understand. Sometimes people do things for magical reasons and other people pay for it.

So all the stories of creatures from legend; the beast of Gevaudan, flying devils, those things don't exist?

Well yeah, but I mean literally. The structure was built to gather magic, I gather he was trying to collect it.

Don't think so. There's fae and things but no actual dragons or anything.
