swipes: a friendr meme

Any new arrival to the city has seen the ad for a free app popping up on their devices, and anyone who's been around for a while probably has a profile and has used it a bit. It's almost universal in the city - Friendr, a friend-finder and/or dating app. If characters choose to install it, they will fill out a short bio and parameters for what they're looking for, upload a snap of themselves, and then proceed to browse for matches. This is a typical swipe-left-or-right type app. The default color scheme can be seen below, but the Friendr app has a wide variety of themes, so feel free to customize with colors and patterns as you see fit, but do not remove the credit line out of respect for the creator of the code.

I knew that there's nerds here but most of the people I've talked to are from different types of worlds than mine. They've never heard of Tolkien.

You're from a version of Earth?

Earth 616, to be specific. There are a few people from the same Earth here, although I've met a few others who were also LoTR fans from other Earths.

I've met a few people from different versions of Earth, but only my family is from our reality.

Considering how massive the multiverse is. . it's good to have some way to keep track of all the different versions, isn't it?

My reality only knows about two realities but I doubt anyone believed us when we told them about the second.

No one I would be against being stuck in a pocket dimension with.

( no dr. dooms lurking around corners that he's aware of. )

Considering all the alien invasions, accepting other dimensions wasn't too big of a stretch, although I'm sure there are some who still don't like the idea of it, it's a little hard to deny.
