swipes: a friendr meme

swipes: a friendr meme

Any new arrival to the city has seen the ad for a free app popping up on their devices, and anyone who's been around for a while probably has a profile and has used it a bit. It's almost universal in the city - Friendr, a friend-finder and/or dating app. If characters choose to install it, they will fill out a short bio and parameters for what they're looking for, upload a snap of themselves, and then proceed to browse for matches. This is a typical swipe-left-or-right type app. The default color scheme can be seen below, but the Friendr app has a wide variety of themes, so feel free to customize with colors and patterns as you see fit, but do not remove the credit line out of respect for the creator of the code.

Code to post your character's bio is in the textbox below.

Friendr base code is by photosynthesis.

● Post up a top-level for your character with their Friendr profile and then go around and swipe left or right on everyone else's!
● This meme is for characters already accepted into the game to window shop other characters' Friendrs while they're all gathered conveniently into one place.
● This meme is GAME CANON, so any threads played out in this meme can be carried through into the actual canon of the game.
● Since this meme is game canon, open, and only for characters in the game, threads here can be used for either Activity Points or the monthly Activity Check.

That would be splendid. You have my thanks in advance.

[Alex is quick!]

Okay so for tragedy other than Hamlet, I'm going to go with Macbeth. It's got good stuff about witches and destiny and fighting for the rule of Scotland.

For comedy, my favorites are A Midsummer's Night's Dream which is about Oberon and Titania, The Fairy King and Queen are having a lover's spat, so Oberon uses magic to cause mischief and make her think that she's in love with>a donkey. But there's a lot of humans in the woods, people in love and out of love and they all get caught up in the spell and it's funny.

My other favorite is Much Ado About Nothing. It's definitely a romance full of mistake identities and plots and a couple that are completely in love and just spend ninety percent of the play being snarky with one another

[Alex likes snarky people.]

The for history, probably Richard III, I think. It's hard because they're good in different ways.

Such recommendations! Though, being plays, I assume they lose a bit of their edge in the reading. Be that as it may, I'll look into them.

Yeah, they can, especially because the language is really archaic But they're worth reading anyway.

I know Thor said Loki is doing a theatre group. Maybe we can petition for some good old Bard stuff.

It may be worth a shot, yes. We'll see.
