swipes: a friendr meme

Any new arrival to the city has seen the ad for a free app popping up on their devices, and anyone who's been around for a while probably has a profile and has used it a bit. It's almost universal in the city - Friendr, a friend-finder and/or dating app. If characters choose to install it, they will fill out a short bio and parameters for what they're looking for, upload a snap of themselves, and then proceed to browse for matches. This is a typical swipe-left-or-right type app. The default color scheme can be seen below, but the Friendr app has a wide variety of themes, so feel free to customize with colors and patterns as you see fit, but do not remove the credit line out of respect for the creator of the code.

Sort of. Back home they didn't usually take initiative to move on their own. Here they do and they pretty much behave like lions, without the having to eat part. They still talk to us though.

Yeah. I'm glad to have him. He's been a lot of help to me.

That's good. I don't know about you, but having people here I know already helped me adjust.

Yeah it always helps. My teammate and I arrived at the same time so we had each other. Black and Red arrived later. They are important to me.

The familiarity is good to have when you're suddenly in a new place. I've got my brother here, my copilot, and a couple of teammates as well. I guess we're pretty lucky.

It's good that you have other as well. It was hard picturing being alone in this place until I realized my teammate was here.

I sympathize. I didn't have to worry, though. I ended up rooming with my brother. And I've met some interesting people so far!
