swipes: a friendr memeAny new arrival to the city has seen the ad for a free app popping up on their devices, and anyone who's been around for a while probably has a profile and has used it a bit. It's almost universal in the city - Friendr, a friend-finder and/or dating app. If characters choose to install it, they will fill out a short bio and parameters for what they're looking for, upload a snap of themselves, and then proceed to browse for matches. This is a typical swipe-left-or-right type app. The default color scheme can be seen below, but the Friendr app has a wide variety of themes, so feel free to customize with colors and patterns as you see fit, but do not remove the credit line out of respect for the creator of the code.

i got into it to spoil my dads plans
so that real heroes would catch him

My favorite team, the Avengers, had disbanded.
Someone from the future came to gather the next line of Avengers together to try and put the old team back.
We were a bunch of fanboys trying to bring back our own heroes, at first. Then the team kind of got bigger, and more stuff kept happening.

what was it like being part of a real team?? i was really just like, a sidekick at best. or an annoyance to the real heroes.

I made friends, found a brother I never knew I had.
We were all kind of different from most, so it was nice to be able to connect to people who understood what that was like.
The team that disbanded kept trying to break us up, but we were determined to do good.
But I lost some of my best friends, and a lot of others got hurt.
I quit for a while because I couldn't handle it, watching everyone suffer, the lives lost.
We all disbanded.
My brother was kind of pissed about it, and ran off to try and do stuff on his own.
Honestly it was all a mess. It was a mess even just before I ended up here.
