swipes: a friendr meme

Any new arrival to the city has seen the ad for a free app popping up on their devices, and anyone who's been around for a while probably has a profile and has used it a bit. It's almost universal in the city - Friendr, a friend-finder and/or dating app. If characters choose to install it, they will fill out a short bio and parameters for what they're looking for, upload a snap of themselves, and then proceed to browse for matches. This is a typical swipe-left-or-right type app. The default color scheme can be seen below, but the Friendr app has a wide variety of themes, so feel free to customize with colors and patterns as you see fit, but do not remove the credit line out of respect for the creator of the code.

You asked for it! We were part of a mission to explore different planes. Big bad Hunger wanted to eat them. It was chasing the Light of Creation. If we got the light out of there, the place lived. From the time the Light landed on a place to when the Hunger landed on us it was about a year. But not always, especially towards the end there. We did 99 of those. Last one some other shit stopped us and it took more than ten years to get that Hunger business solved.

Plus I technically died and became a lich at some point during all that so... Not sure if that counts as living anymore.

There are a lot of things in there I don't understand. But I get enough of it to see where the age issue comes from. And the life issue. I'd say it counts as living. For the record. I mean, you're here.
