swipes: a friendr meme
swipes: a friendr memeAny new arrival to the city has seen the ad for a free app popping up on their devices, and anyone who's been around for a while probably has a profile and has used it a bit. It's almost universal in the city - Friendr, a friend-finder and/or dating app. If characters choose to install it, they will fill out a short bio and parameters for what they're looking for, upload a snap of themselves, and then proceed to browse for matches. This is a typical swipe-left-or-right type app. The default color scheme can be seen below, but the Friendr app has a wide variety of themes, so feel free to customize with colors and patterns as you see fit, but do not remove the credit line out of respect for the creator of the code.

messed up a bunch of people's lives
then he graduated to shooting people and that was even less cool

I'm really glad that she didn't then. Because a lot of the time proof like that, if you had just put it on the web would have just been... ignored, I guess.

and sometimes that's a good thing
there were a few months there where the flash was able to save people without any unwanted attention from media or villains
because people who reported sightings or being saved online weren't believed
which sucks for them but it made things easier at first when we were all still figuring shit out
and by the time the city knew about the flash for sure, we were ready to deal with that.
