swipes: a friendr meme

Any new arrival to the city has seen the ad for a free app popping up on their devices, and anyone who's been around for a while probably has a profile and has used it a bit. It's almost universal in the city - Friendr, a friend-finder and/or dating app. If characters choose to install it, they will fill out a short bio and parameters for what they're looking for, upload a snap of themselves, and then proceed to browse for matches. This is a typical swipe-left-or-right type app. The default color scheme can be seen below, but the Friendr app has a wide variety of themes, so feel free to customize with colors and patterns as you see fit, but do not remove the credit line out of respect for the creator of the code.

[Even back in her universe, keysmashing and yelling at strangers isn't exactly her style, so she's glad that despite him clearly being an antagonistic person with powers, he's also having a discussion rather than an argument. Though, it probably helps that Rogue's literally one off the most empathetic non-empath's he'll meet, both due to her own experiences as well as the ones from others that she's absorbed over her lifetime.]

I'm real sorry to hear that my world ain't the only one suffering from that repetitive disease.

[She probably shouldn't bring up Nazis and the Red Skull yet. Especially if he's not from a variation of Earth.]

How do most people accomplish great tasks? How did you learn to control and grow your abilities?

[She's trying to teach rather than dictate to him the answers. Hopefully he'll be a bit patient with her.]

And there will be, but you got to remember you should only control yourself. Some people can force or mind control others to do or believe something, but how would you feel if someone did that to you? Would you think they'd changed? In my experiences, this behavior only perpetuates distrust.
