swipes: a friendr meme

Any new arrival to the city has seen the ad for a free app popping up on their devices, and anyone who's been around for a while probably has a profile and has used it a bit. It's almost universal in the city - Friendr, a friend-finder and/or dating app. If characters choose to install it, they will fill out a short bio and parameters for what they're looking for, upload a snap of themselves, and then proceed to browse for matches. This is a typical swipe-left-or-right type app. The default color scheme can be seen below, but the Friendr app has a wide variety of themes, so feel free to customize with colors and patterns as you see fit, but do not remove the credit line out of respect for the creator of the code.

An artist, huh? Can't say I expected that one.

Not really an artist. I did go to school, but not for long. I just sketch now and then.

Better than I manage. Never really had the patience to learn.

Yeah, something I do to keep track of things, I guess.

You never know how fast something is passing by until it's gone. I used to draw to escape. Now it feels like I do it to keep in touch.

Well I guess it is true the older you get, the faster time seems to go. Never really thought of keeping track like that though.

Well, I used to travel. I have some journals too but... I dunno. It's something I can't really put to words.

Not everyone can. Though honestly, it never really occurred to me to want to.

It used to be a habit, but I think it's helped me. I've learned to keep things close even when I can't stay.
