swipes: a friendr meme

Any new arrival to the city has seen the ad for a free app popping up on their devices, and anyone who's been around for a while probably has a profile and has used it a bit. It's almost universal in the city - Friendr, a friend-finder and/or dating app. If characters choose to install it, they will fill out a short bio and parameters for what they're looking for, upload a snap of themselves, and then proceed to browse for matches. This is a typical swipe-left-or-right type app. The default color scheme can be seen below, but the Friendr app has a wide variety of themes, so feel free to customize with colors and patterns as you see fit, but do not remove the credit line out of respect for the creator of the code.

It is really convenient. I just think about all the situations that could have been avoided at home if I could have sent instantaneous messages to people.

And then this place is so safe that they use this amazing technology to make friends and send each other pictures of cats. It's crazy.

Berk is pretty peaceful too, just not all the time. Though I guess it's not peaceful all the time here, either. They still have problems with things trying to get through the fences.

Some of the creatures out there are pretty crazy too, haha.

Usually just when something happens to throw off the natural order, I think. The inhabited city is pretty well protected anyway.

Toothless and I go out there all the time. I work part-time for the Guard as a surveyor. You could come with us one of these days if you wanted.
