swipes: a friendr meme

Any new arrival to the city has seen the ad for a free app popping up on their devices, and anyone who's been around for a while probably has a profile and has used it a bit. It's almost universal in the city - Friendr, a friend-finder and/or dating app. If characters choose to install it, they will fill out a short bio and parameters for what they're looking for, upload a snap of themselves, and then proceed to browse for matches. This is a typical swipe-left-or-right type app. The default color scheme can be seen below, but the Friendr app has a wide variety of themes, so feel free to customize with colors and patterns as you see fit, but do not remove the credit line out of respect for the creator of the code.

Well, this is one I have just redone, a lot of things were removed more so than added I suppose.

I'm not quite sure what a play is either to be honest.

[ Bards, minstrels and viking counterparts perhaps but that is a far cry from plays and movies and not to mention that a good portion of his life had been spent in a monastery. ]

well a play is like... a bunch of people acting out a story.

for a quick snack, they're pretty good.
kind of a stape childhood food where i'm from.
i like dipping mine in ranch dressing.

probably so??
i haven't really gone out looking for them, but i'm sure they aren't hard to find.
or something close to them.

sometimes you can make them at home
but.... they're not as good.

I see. I usually grow and make the food that I eat.

you can't really grow chicken nuggets...
i mean you could probably grow all the ingredients and make them yourself somehow.
they'd probably taste a lot better that way

I am still not sure I completely understand them but it makes me curious to try them at some point.

I would like that very much.

no, i haven't.
but i've grown a few house plants successfully.

yeah.
they're like small plants that you can grow inside your home.
they usually don't take too much work. easy stuff, really.

I see. It does not sound very practical.

it's not meant to be practical
they're mostly just for decoration.

There is not room for much impracticality at home.

decoration isn't completely impractical
it's important to have a way to express yourself

I suppose that is true. I did not really have the luxury of those things.
