swipes: a friendr meme

Any new arrival to the city has seen the ad for a free app popping up on their devices, and anyone who's been around for a while probably has a profile and has used it a bit. It's almost universal in the city - Friendr, a friend-finder and/or dating app. If characters choose to install it, they will fill out a short bio and parameters for what they're looking for, upload a snap of themselves, and then proceed to browse for matches. This is a typical swipe-left-or-right type app. The default color scheme can be seen below, but the Friendr app has a wide variety of themes, so feel free to customize with colors and patterns as you see fit, but do not remove the credit line out of respect for the creator of the code.

[So way more science fiction than his magic life. Would he fly on a spaceship if he got the chance? Of course, but the world of magic will always be his first choice.]

[ To him that's more exciting than magic, it's his passion, his life. But he has to admit he can see how fascinating magic is, even if he's only ever been in contact with it during his time here. ]

[ Yeah, it's pretty awesome, even to Jim and he's used to it by now. Well, that's not so accurate to say. He doesn't think he'll ever be truly used to all the amazing things he can find out there. ]

I am out on a mission right now, actually. Near the Abandoned City. You're keeping me distracted while I can't fall asleep.

For half a second I thought you were going to tell me you were going out on your spaceship and would be back after you checked out a new planet.

Lots of things to see out there, I hear. I've been meaning to go out too, but I haven't taken the chance yet. Being eaten by actual animals sounds awful.

Well I do have a shuttle but it can't take me far enough to actually reach a planet out there. Sorry to disappoint you.

I've been out here a number of times so far, and I haven't gotten eaten yet. Just had one biting me once. Still here and in one piece, though.

Yeah, but I'm not a professional adventurer. Going into human jungles is different.

Yeah, it takes me to space. You can tag along sometime, if you ever feel like it.

We get plenty of people curious about what it's like, beyond the wall. I'm used to going out there with people who have little to no experience. It's even easier with the shuttle too.
