swipes: a friendr meme

Any new arrival to the city has seen the ad for a free app popping up on their devices, and anyone who's been around for a while probably has a profile and has used it a bit. It's almost universal in the city - Friendr, a friend-finder and/or dating app. If characters choose to install it, they will fill out a short bio and parameters for what they're looking for, upload a snap of themselves, and then proceed to browse for matches. This is a typical swipe-left-or-right type app. The default color scheme can be seen below, but the Friendr app has a wide variety of themes, so feel free to customize with colors and patterns as you see fit, but do not remove the credit line out of respect for the creator of the code.

i've only known a couple before
but even the ones who don't mind hanging around don't seem interested in dates

idk. i don't think i've ever met a vampire before...
movies make it seem like they'd be okay, though
but boundaries would be a must

The ones I've met have wanted to move on or they were watching over someone they loved.

Did they think haunting was entertaining?

Vampires can be good or bad.
Depends on how they view humanity.
Boundaries are smart with every relationship.

do most of them view it in a good light?
i always imagined there was a big rift between humans and vampries, but that probably has a lot to do with movies and stuff.

but sometimes they can be pesky

Some of the ones I've met thought of it as a joke. Others had reasons for staying that they become obsessed with.

Most of the vampires I know are a bit "we're better than you" but I used to think that way too so I can't condemn them for that.

Overall, they know they shouldn't harm humans but they many not be interested in what's going on in the world outside their groups.

Most humans in my world have no idea that the supernatural exists.

If the relationship's worth it, then it doesn't matter if the boundaries are pesky.
You learn how to accept them.

i guess in their defense, there's plenty of perfectly average humans who think the exact same way.

it varies from person to person in my world.
some people believe in it strongly, some people only believe parts, some people think it's completely fake.
