swipes: a friendr meme

Any new arrival to the city has seen the ad for a free app popping up on their devices, and anyone who's been around for a while probably has a profile and has used it a bit. It's almost universal in the city - Friendr, a friend-finder and/or dating app. If characters choose to install it, they will fill out a short bio and parameters for what they're looking for, upload a snap of themselves, and then proceed to browse for matches. This is a typical swipe-left-or-right type app. The default color scheme can be seen below, but the Friendr app has a wide variety of themes, so feel free to customize with colors and patterns as you see fit, but do not remove the credit line out of respect for the creator of the code.

● This meme is for characters already accepted into the game to window shop other characters' Friendrs while they're all gathered conveniently into one place.
● This meme is GAME CANON, so any threads played out in this meme can be carried through into the actual canon of the game.
● Much like the TDM, threads on this meme can count for Activity Points, but not the monthly Activity Check.

Really? Isn't that bad?

1. Well, it can't come from nowhere that's for sure :D
2. Repairs! That's actually really useful skill to have. Sadly, I have none of it :(
3. There's nothing wrong with snuggles, and some people really are unpleasant to deal with. Don't worry about it :)

There's no point looking at it unless I get messages. Most people aren't exactly reaching me through Friendr.

1. I can think of one person who would give an answer like that but I don't know where dogs or snuggles came from if it was her.
2. It's very useful, and quick too if you use alchemy.
3. Maybe not but I'm not going to go around advertising it.

Still, if someone is hacking your Friendr account could end up hacking your phone. Be careful :(

I don't think I was hacked, someone just thought it would be funny to mess with my device when I wasn't looking.

[He doesn't have a phone per se, but it connects to the network fine so he'll take it. He also has friends that could easily work out his password.]

As for alchemy, I could teach you about it. I've already taught others about it.

[Unlike most phones on the quarantine Ed's device isn't as capable as the average smart phone since he didn't pick one up on arrival and just has the thing he arrived with from Attollo.]

On my world anyone has the capacity to learn alchemy, but the drive to study and perfect that skill is important.

Yes, alchemy does sound like something you have to put your all into both understand and wield.
