swipes: a friendr meme

Any new arrival to the city has seen the ad for a free app popping up on their devices, and anyone who's been around for a while probably has a profile and has used it a bit. It's almost universal in the city - Friendr, a friend-finder and/or dating app. If characters choose to install it, they will fill out a short bio and parameters for what they're looking for, upload a snap of themselves, and then proceed to browse for matches. This is a typical swipe-left-or-right type app. The default color scheme can be seen below, but the Friendr app has a wide variety of themes, so feel free to customize with colors and patterns as you see fit, but do not remove the credit line out of respect for the creator of the code.

I am stationed at Perimeter Guard as Orientation support. I mostly handle newcomers and provide support to the other Guards at the post.

Hopefully, I will be able to acquire a fire persona soon. Wind as well. I feel rather uneasy not having all the elements with me.

You can get the personas while you're here?

Yes. Personas develop when you spend a lot of time with other people. And seeing I am not isolated from the others, it will only be a matter of time.

The people you spend time with and you get to know shape you, sometimes in good and sometimes in bad ways.

How does it connect to the elements? What kind of person gives you a fire Persona?

1/2: Do I? Haha I didn't mean to sound as if I'm preaching.

It depends on person's Arcana- their innate personality. Think of it this way- a horoscope that has 21 sign in it ^^

2/2: The easiest way for me to get a Fire persona would be to meet someone who is a Magician Arcana.

Of course, there are other Arcana whose personas can wield fire, but usually, that is not their main strength.

I wouldn't know if there are people with Magician Arcana around. I still haven't met one.

[He... probably shouldn't mention to Noctis which Arcana is he. He might take it as an insult.]

(If Noctis knew he was an Arcana at all, he would ask himself, but he assumes it's a unique title.)

The royal line can draw magic from elemental stones. Fire, ice, lightning.

Elemental stones? Did you find any around the Riverview? Perhaps at the riverbed?

I haven't seen them, but there might be some outside of the wall.

I'm going to go looking for better spots to fish. If I find some, that's good too, but I think there are bigger fish further away from the city.
