I kinda had to betray a friend to save my brother's life. He didn't die or anything but... it's, like, one of the worst feelings ever. Choosing to do something you hate to save someone you love.

I'm sorry that you had to...go through something like that. [ But, love, that is definitely the right word for his feelings towards Alex. ]

I hate seeing people I care about hurt. But I...also lost control when I went to protect Alex. I could have hurt him too with the state I was in.
