Sure, Ed considers Jay one of his best friends - possibly his best friend - but it was still strange to think he cared enough to hate Ed for ever leaving. Then again, his view might be skewed by being fully aware that Jason wasn't exactly innocent of that behavior himself. Of course Ed can't finish that train of thought, because he had, he'd abandoned his own brother but that was a little different than someone trying to push him away by being an asshole.]
