[Cam's own 'parents' paid him an unwanted visit when he was outside the wall. The Waltzes, in their infinite disappointment, had followed him while he ran, fought, and supported those civilians (and his bards) in crises, for the better part of a day. He'd been distracted and humiliated. They only faded when he broke down and cried.
