There was no rush to be free of the arms wrapped around him. Damian hadn't been here for more than a month, but this was more affection than he'd had in the time he'd at Riverview. He was used to being able to contact Richard, to having the older man pop up and spend some time at the manor or in the Batcave. Not having that same bond here was strange, something he missed more than he ever thought he would.

"That sounds like a challenge." He offered, leaning back just enough to shake his head. He was about to lean back in, take a little more from the embrace while he had the chance, but the question made him pause. His expression fell slightly, brows creasing. In the past, it was a question he would have brushed off without a thought, especially coming from Todd or Drake. But with the sudden need for attention and contact, a desire to be close to his fellow Robins, it made it easier to answer, to be open. Just like he'd been with Richard before he'd come here. And, of course, being called a kid was always something that would earn some hostility. But not now.

"Richard doesn't know me here."
