[When Abel hears that people are needed to deal with carnivorous plants, he's immediately over there, ready to do some extreme gardening. With a sword in his hand (where did he get that sword? who knows that's just how Abel is) he is cutting at the plants with a precision that shows he has definitely used a sword before and with some frequency.
Unfortunately, he's not exactly a team player, so he's sticking by himself and not really going out of his way to help anyone else who has decided to fight these fearsome plants. Feel free to shout at him, though.]

[Abel's dealt with horses during his unremembered lifetime and even after his death, he was still capable of dealing with even the wildest of the beasts, so horsebirds weren't too different than that, right? Wrong. Well, somewhat wrong. It took far longer than a horse, but Abel managed to at least calm the creature enough with some bribes of some tasty plants and patience.
Now all he had to do was convince the creature to allow him to saddle it up so he could take it back to the stables. Which it was not letting him do, letting out a few loud kwehs in protest while he's back to soothing the large bird down again.]
