(im sorry for this) [ Hana isn't entirely sure what's going on with people acting like something's gotten everyone's feathers rustled until a bystander is kind enough to yell, "Look out!" in her direction and, sure enough, the moment she turns in the direction from which the voice came, there's a giant, fluffy yellow bird careening toward and then jumping clear right over her.

[ She whirls around just in time to see it land and continue on its way before she notices-- there are more. And she swears those giant birds look cartoonish enough to have walked right out of a video game, chunky and fluffy and kind of really adorable if not for the fact that they're currently terrorizing the local populace? If all of the games and media Hana has consumed over all nineteen years of her life are anything to go by, though, getting these giant chickens back in control is just a matter of proving yourself the alpha... bird. Although not for the first time since she's arrived to this strange new dimension, she laments how much easier any of this would be if she her MEKA unit with her.
Her resolve forms just in time, at least, to catch a running child to keep them from tripping over themselves and she flashes them a smile, saying, ]
Don't worry. I've got this!
[ Before she surges forward, walking so very bravely to three squawking, flapping chocobos, and then stopping in front of them with her arms outstretched, legs bent at the knees in a tentative challenge. This has totally worked in movies. This is definitely not going to end badly for anyone at all. ]
That's right, giant birdies, here comes a new challenger.
[ But here's a newsflash: giant fluffy birds that are upset don't give a damn about new challengers. Her gesture only earns a moment of pause before the chocobos, in turn, surge forward and rush at her. Halp. ]
