swipes: a friendr meme

Any new arrival to the city has seen the ad for a free app popping up on their devices, and anyone who's been around for a while probably has a profile and has used it a bit. It's almost universal in the city - Friendr, a friend-finder and/or dating app. If characters choose to install it, they will fill out a short bio and parameters for what they're looking for, upload a snap of themselves, and then proceed to browse for matches. This is a typical swipe-left-or-right type app. The default color scheme can be seen below, but the Friendr app has a wide variety of themes, so feel free to customize with colors and patterns as you see fit, but do not remove the credit line out of respect for the creator of the code.

( if wally insists on pacing the same path, skye may need to beg the groundskeeper's forgiveness. even moving at a brisk pace on sidewalks and through the station, it still takes her a good ten minutes to make it across the city thanks to a delay in the groundtram. by the time she's greeted by the softly lit pathways of the city park, skye's almost convinced he'll have run home out of sheer boredom. she's happy to be wrong, though, even if he's looking as jittery and uncertain as skye feels, pacing around the grass.

she offers a quiet 'hey' as warning and greeting both as she crosses the lawn, a hand lifted in a small wave that tucks back into the pocket of her jacket when she gets closer. there's a small part of her brain that wants to re-establish the contact they'd had last time, hands loosely held, but she resists. for now. )

So... ( in the wake of that uncertain, hesitant starting syllable, skye's teeth drag over the inside of her bottom lip, rolling the skin between them while she tries to think of what to say. ) I feel like I've spent the last ten minutes dreading every worst case scenario I can think of.

( a breath, and skye blurts: ) Please tell me you're not secretly a Nazi. Because I don't think I could handle that twice in one lifetime.
