[The whole "random kidnapping to some alternate plane or whatever" thing is...a lot to process. And being suddenly alone, after however many weeks it's been of traveling around with her little band of weirdos, only makes it harder. You'd think the alone time would make it easier to think, but fuck, maybe she's gotten too used to thinking over chaos and bullshit and Jester reading aloud from smut novels.

But killing monsters sounded like her idea of a nice grounding activity. And it came with a free pass to the apparently permanent festival set up here, which is...well, free shit, so. Hell yeah.

But now, leaning over to peer over the fence at the horde of creatures milling around, little critters and bigger beasts alike, she grimaces, addressing whoever happens to be nearby and probably on the same assignment without even looking.]

Right, so...cards on the table, that's probably more than I can handle by myself.

[She doesn't really expect anything to come of this, beyond maybe pissing off whatever stranger she gets paired with because that can happen sometimes. So she just signs up for a platonic table, with maybe a totally casual afterthought to the hostess that she can do a romance-whatever with any ladies if that'll get her seated faster. But, y'know. It's no big deal.

Seated at the table with a not-terribly-polite slouch, Beau glances up from the menu at whoever's unfortunate enough to be paired with her, gesturing vaguely as she proceeds bluntly and without formalities.]

Look, we deal with this setup and we both get a free meal out of it. Sound good?

[She's already looking through the menu. Free shit is a good deal no matter what, as long as this person isn't a complete lunatic, anyway. And even then, she can probably deal. Not like she hasn't been hanging out with a whole squad of lunatics for a while now.]
