["Fun" really isn't a word that Luke has much experience with. But one, it's free if he gets rid of some crabs, two, getting rid of the crabs should be good practice for getting his powers under control, and three... okay, maybe he didn't quite hear the rest of what was said. Because that critter there is not anything remotely toy poodle sized or crab shaped. It's more St Bernard sized... and shark-shaped, especially around the jaw. What kind of evolutionary process comes up with land-sharks?
He's tempted to just leave it for someone else and call the whole thing off, except it probably would just chase him. That, and maybe he's in the mood to really hit something hard.
...of course, that's when someone else moves into what he's pretty sure is going to be an unsafe radius if he starts trying to fight from a distance.]

[Resources are resources, and whatever a unit might be actually worth, the fact he gets paid to fight some creatures that don't really sound very dangerous and maybe get a little local notoriety in the process doesn't sound like a terrible deal.
It's the moths that are the problem. Luke's mood isn't very stable at the best of times, and he really doesn't need something else messing with it. He's down to the last one, and between chemical manipulation and sheer frustration at trying to catch something flying when he's entirely land-bound... he's starting to get more than a little overwrought.
He sits down on a curb, trying to avoid a sudden fit of almost overwhelming sadness, glaring at anyone who seems like they're getting close enough to see it and really not pleased that he sounds halfway to a sob. Anyone sharp-eyed might notice he reacts later and more strongly to anything coming from his left-hand side...]
Just leave me alone...

Anyone know any cheap places to eat? I mean like greasy spoon cafes or hole in the wall pizza places. Health and hygiene not an issue, I've eaten worse.
...And does anyone know if you can be tracked through the devices they give you?

[Luke is a 19 year old super-powered disaster with some trust issues, who is actually quite pleased to be here- he's a runaway, and you really can't run away much further than another universe. He also has some control issues with his powers- and his moods, and his mouth.
He'll be spending a lot of his time outside, working various short-term jobs. He'll also be sleeping outside, because he's really not used to sharing a room with anyone, let alone more than one anyone. He can be found poking the forest occasionally, the city more often looking for hiding places- including the abandoned sections, if he can find his way there.
