[It's all quite a welcome, isn't it? Sucked from her world into this one, with vague claims that "portal" brings people who don't feel like they belong. Outwardly Hawke huffs at the idea, but on the inside? A pang of guilt. She should be back home, fixing her mess, but instead she's here.
Adjusting and acclimating to this place presents a lot of challenges, just enough to leave Hawke a hair frustrated. So when comes across a few of these large bird creature-things swooping around and terrorizing a few locals, well, she can't quite help herself.
One of the nice things about being a mage is that distance is hardly ever an issue. A creature can fly all it wants; if it's in range of her magic, well... sucks to be it.
Or in this case, sucks to be the three monsters who she just unleashed a chain of lightning upon, giving them quite a nice zap. Not enough to knock them down and out, but enough to tick them off and send them circling away, for now.]
Drat. Come back you feathered brains, you make for such good target practice.
III. Hot Springs
[Okay, maybe this place isn't entirely awful. All the... "rides" in this "park" confuse her a bit, but the mention of hot springs piques her interest.
It doesn't take long for her to find one at a suitable temperature and sink into it. Relm hasn't quite gotten the memo about bathing suits, so she's in, clothes and all, as a quick glance around reminded her that there's no privacy and she's not about to get buck naked around a horde of strangers.]
...nevermind whatever room I'm assigned to. I'm staying here permanently. I'll pay room and board somehow. [She's kidding... probably. Honestly, with how blissed out she looks at the moment, she might be a mote serious.]
