I don't know. ( what he wants is horrendously selfish and not something he could ever ask for, not like this. even billy has enough self awareness not to shove his foot up his mouth that far, so he--doesn't. but he's not slowing down, either, and definitely not letting teddy get the lead on him.

teddy is more durable. strong, near-impossible to physically hurt and the months billy has spent here has made him even softer than he was before. but that's fine. if something comes out at them, he'll--figure out a way to handle it. it's better than looking at teddy's back as he walks.
