All she'd really had to do was ask Shiro and the answer would have been an immediate "yes". Of course he wanted to do something like that! It was right up his alley. Unfortunately, he couldn't have Black with him (that was cheating) so the lion had to stay at home. But he had no desire to cheat. That wouldn't be true test of skills.
