McCoy is not having the best day ever, but when is he?

Ten kids missing. Ten. He scans the handout again, hoping like anything that he'll see one or all of these kids whole and happy. Instead of in bits. Chances are they just got tied up in playing, and forgot to come in for dinner, right?

He squawks as a vine tightens around his ankle.


ii: death from above

"What the hell?" McCoy yells, smacking the damn thing with his umbrella again. It hisses at him, and he skips back onto the pavement, desperate to escape the needle sharp teeth. His arm's already bleeding. Nothing more than a sting, embarrassing, really, because other people can fend them off much more easily, apparently!

But he's always been a doctor, not a fighter.


iii: hot springs episode

It's kinda nice, seeing everyone have fun.

He can't let that out, though. The moment you start letting people think you like 'em or something, you're in trouble. So he just keeps churning up and down the lap pool with his serviceable crawl.

Repressing the occasional grin.
