[The Shield could never be home to her. Not without the foster-children she'd come to miss, not without her books, and not without a chance at power, although perhaps not necessarily in that order. So it's no surprise to her that she's whisked away, and perhaps even grateful for it; dying to the hordes of the undead does not appeal and never has. Of course, dying to the jungle doesn't either, but at least jungles are mostly stationary and avoidable. And the walls are less high, and entirely optional to serve on; Loki debates it, but perhaps later. For now, she wants the lay of the land first.
But maybe it's a reminder of her foster-children that leads her to take a flyer, and offer some assistance. Or maybe it's a chance to work her way into people's trust, to be seen doing something useful. Maybe it's both. Whatever the case, she's there outside the walls, sat cross-legged, eyes closed and glowing a distinctive green colour. Why do the heavy lifting, when she can use magic instead?]

[Much too dignified for the more active options, Loki settles for one of the hotter pools. The clothing people expect to be worn here is... a little more minimal than she'd like, a little too thin to provide much protection if she needs it, and in all honesty at home she'd likely go without anyway. It might be a little riskier here, however, particularly if attacked.
She'd skip the pool altogether, but the idea of being truly warm calls to her, and there's little point being ashamed of her appearance when she knows perfectly well it stands up well enough against anyone else's. She makes herself at home, leaning back against the side of the pool, seeming self-possessed and unconcerned even if she's busy keeping a tally of everyone nearby. And should anyone actually join her, she's willing to offer a smile and a word of greeting- even if she seems a world away.]

I've been told what they clearly want me to know about this place. Is there anything else I should be aware of? Any secrets I might otherwise trip over? I do prefer to have the best chance of survival possible...
