[ There's a well-dressed man walking through the streets of Riverview with his head held high, not hiding away under a dark umbrella. He strolls casually, hands in pockets, as though there is no imminent threat of attack present. But surely, it's only a matter of time before one of the flying creatures swoops down to claw at him? In fact, here comes one now! You may think he needs help. You may even be rushing in to save the day. But then, right at the last moment, the man looks up, mouth in a terse line as though this really is an inconvenience, and he raises a hand towards the monsters. Suddenly, the creature is wreathed in black flames, as though combusting from the inside. It falls to a charred heap on the ground. The man stands there watching it burn, enigmatic look on his face, before adjusting his course around the fallen beast and continuing on his way. ]
