( if he were a little more paranoid, he'd argue that this dream clark is clearly a figment of his imagination working against him. that'd fit well with--everything else, wouldn't it? but he doesn't want to think negatively like that. and the way this place was explained makes--sense. he did feel lost. out of place. sent back to somewhere he didn't belong. here is--good, much better.
