[ Sage wasn't usually one to meander his way through the streets after work. he was the kind to finish his work, stay about three hours later than what he needed to because he never bothered to look at a clock, and the then maybe think about hitting up a bar on the way home (if not the bar that resided in the ground floor of his apartment, but that is neither here nor there) before pointedly not going to sleep. so the fact that he is out and moving with crowds at all is a bit strange.
he will blame it on Minsu and the afternoon pizza that turned into late afternoon coffees and Sage just-- not going back to work.
point is, it is weird that he is out at all is strange, and the fact that someone proceeds to talk to him even stranger.
the rose barely even registers to the witch.]

at least, he thinks they are a man. there is a crackling power in him that makes the magic in Sage surge, he almost feels like-- like some kind of magic packed too tightly together and given the form of a man. like there is too much under his skin waiting to get out.
iv. [quietly screams over this]

Sage finds it interesting more than anything.]
Holy fuck--um, okay. How what goes exactly?
