[Anyone near Apollo will be able to hear him muttering that to himself as he gets his bow and arrows ready, but it’s clear that he’s trying to convince himself of that fact. He doesn’t really know if swearing on the river Styx applies in this case, but he’s pretty sure a curse is a curse no matter where he goes. Does it really matter, though? He already broke it. He’s already cursed and dying and paying the higher price or whatever it may end up happening to him. And he’s definitely not going to just sit here and let those monsters kill him, because he’s absolutely not dying in such a dirty, muddy and-flooded place. So not classy.
And also there’s other people in danger or whatever. Point is, he’s got some experience with killing monsters so he’ll do his best. Though it’s usually way, way easier than this (damn this mortal body).
He is not as good with them as he once was and he will happily remind everyone of that fact, but to any experienced archer he will seem at least pretty decent and he hits his target more often than not. Only he would know that the arrows are not hitting exactly where he wants them to.
Having to train to be good at stuff is so frustrating.]

By now he’s learned what he has to do to get his sense back and he’s not going to let the fact that he has to touch some strangers stop him.
If he goes for particularly beautiful people, hey, hush, you can’t blame him.
He lets out a sigh of relief as soon as contact is made.]
