What's a guy who's electrokinetic to do when someone says they need something bright to scare giant horned beetles away from unsuspecting citizens? Well, suit up and join the force sneaking around behind them, apparently. Brennan hates the jungle. He hates the outside world in general, with all the weather, the potential for rain, the discomfort, the lack of coffee-

-but it's for a good cause, namely: no one gets trampled or their homes destroyed by some of the nastiest bugs he's ever seen (and he's seen some pretty nasty bugs). That didn't mean he had to be happy about it, but he wasn't going to just sit around and let these things destroy the only place he had to stay, or hurt innocent people in the process.

Stealth was the way, definitely, but that wasn't going to stop him from making commentary, either. At least it was muttered quietly enough to only carry to those close to him.

"Maybe we shouldn't have put off calling the exterminator, huh?"

[When the feed cuts in, Brennan is reclining in his bunk in communal housing, tossing a tennis ball against the ceiling casually as the muses.]

You know what? I've seen some crazy technology, stuff that's, let's just say, never touched the consumer market.

[He catches the ball as it drops and sits up, dropping the ball to the floor and facing the camera with a look in his eye that say he has an idea.]

The stuff here blows it out of the water, and I'm not just talking about the portal, or the weird magic stuff. I'm talking about the cars. See, back home I used to do a little modding, but what's the point if there's no where to race, right? They want us to scout out the abandoned city anyway, so...if we find a good place for a track while we're at it...who's game?
