Oh, yeah. Always. Well, most of the time. And now I put things together for a living!

[ Not the most technically accurate description of being an engineer, but it's undeniable that he had learned a lot, just through those games he played to keep himself entertained as a kid. That had been the start of it: his love of figuring out how stuff worked, how things were put together, learning about all the secret hidden parts that made the world go. When he'd been young and isolated, things like remotes and telephones and old broken gameboys had made a lot more sense to him than people, and emotions, and their expectations of him.

Lucy's story is vague, and a little alarming to Cisco. Most people who arrived here had a fairly clear memory of how it had happened. Even someone like Eddie, who had died, remembered the dying, before the portal and him being rushed to the hospital. Was it possible (and he hates the thought as soon as it pops into his head) that Lucy had died and just not realized it? Had the portal drawn her here, the way it had with Eddie?

Or maybe he was leaping to conclusions, and she had merely bumped her head. Regardless, she's here now, and all on her own, and Cisco can't help worrying about who might take care of her. ]

I've been here about nine months. I came from a place called Central City. D'you know if they've got a city called that in your world?
