That's how life is sometimes, anyway. Ya get used t'it n' then y'get over it n' then you can find some people who make ya feel a little less independent, but not in a bad way. [...in theory. He's been there most of his life, but more out of necessity than choice. And it's better than it was. Much better. But still...loneliness is just a factor of independence. And you learn to deal with that.
