[Hearing those stories would be fun to listen to. Poe sort of seemed like the type of kid who may have had a lot of energy, or possibly the type that got into trouble and tries to smooth talk his way out of it. Maybe use his smile here and there. She wasn't blind, he was a handsome man. At least that was some of the chatter she heard while on the Resistance Base before leaving to Ahch-To.

But then he may want to hear a story or two from her childhood...and they weren't the most pleasant things. However, she did trust him and she had some good memories.
