Honestly, if there was one thing that would guarantee Alex's attention it would be someone telling her that there were real and actual ghosts here. Ghost stories had always been her favorite, but they weren't something that she got to engage with anymore for obvious reasons. When you're chasing down deadly cults that may or may not be summoning demons and haven't slept in nearly two years, adding ghost stories to the mix is probably a terrible idea. Alex is normally full of terrible ideas, but this one was one that she'd avoided.

At first, it was all Alex to do was to wince, and then her mouth dropped open as she realized that the ghost was just. Swinging there. Swinging from the noose around her neck that wasn't connected anywhere. When Alex got closer, she let out a very loud "Oh my god!" Because the woman's face would have been familiar. Would have been, of course if her eyes weren't where her mouth should be and her mouth wasn't in the center of her forehead.
