This... in so many ways is the true nightmare scenario. This unlikely mix-up with nanites going on all over the place, all the uncomfortable insights and involuntary sharing.
Finn has nothing against getting to know people here. People are nice enough, and there's no point huddling up in a dark room until he can get back to-- whatever's waiting back in the right star system for him. But the circumstances lately are uncomfortable for everyone at best. So on the moderately sarcastic bright side, at least nobody is suffering from it alone.
He just wanted to check out a market today.
Finn stares back at Caleb for a few long moments, and clears his throat. He may or may not give brief consideration to turning on his heel and finding the nearest door, or window if the former falls through, judging by the way he glances around.
"If it helps," he says instead, bringing a hand up almost defensively, "I definitely told her the truth about that later."
