If there was one thing that was guaranteed to get Alex's attention, it was the mention of ghosts somewhere being real. Once upon a time, Alex had been quite fond of ghost stories, and they were definitely better than the demons that Alex had been investigating lately. And of course everything that went along with the demons like the end of the world. But ghosts. Ghosts were fine, weren't they?

Besides if there were ghosts to be investigated and Strand was here, then Alex was willing to bet that this was where he was going to be found.

Seeing a tall man in a suit had gotten her hopes up in a way that it wished it hadn't because they were very quickly dashed by a different deep voice and the English accent that it held when she heard him talking to one of the ghosts. That part was terrible; Alex hadn't realized that the ghosts about here could be ones that knew you--there were too many ghosts in her history for all of that to even be something that Alex wanted to consider.

But by now Alex was close enough to the man that not introducing herself would be rude as hell, and given how few people she knew here, Alex Reagan journalist, just shoved her hands into her pockets and she smiled at him before she asked softly in her Canadian accent and radio voice: "are you alright?"
