[ Karen doesn't have a costume to wear but she's almost tempted to get one when she sees all the other people wearing them. Almost. It's still pretty damn bizarre getting used to... all this. One would think, after everything she's been through, she'd be used to weird shit happening. She's pretty sure being pulled onto an alien moon takes the cake. Once she started accepting this wasn't a dream, this was real.
It's why, as nice as the costumes are, she's making sure to get a pint of their best beer (whichever place looks the least crowded), and takes a few swigs of it before finally setting it down. Licking her lips, she nods to herself, ]

[ Sudden downpours aren't really a new thing for her to experience but forgetting her umbrella is still enough to make her groan in frustration when the drizzle turns into more and she can't find it in her bag. She runs for the nearest doorway and ducks under it, shaking the rain off her jacket and wiping her wet hair from her face. ]
Crap.
[ Few things can make you feel more like an idiot than forgetting something as simple as an umbrella. ]
