[Billy doesn't need to be told twice. He quietly trails behind Faraday all the way from the bar to the back alley, but once they're outside he pants from the rush of the brawl and evasion of the authorities. It was almost like being back in that Texan bar where he and Goody first met, except he wasn't the one who started the fight this time (the bartender actually treated him like a normal customer).
Despite the exertion, Billy manages a half-grin through his panting along with a breathless chuckle.]
Yeah, we better start walking. [Another breathless chuckle accompanied by a small shake of Billy's head.] And fix ourselves up so we don't look like we just came out of a brawl.
[It was dark outside, so Billy doesn't think their cuts and bruises will be easily noticeable, especially to a crowd that is likely very inebriated from the festivities he can still hear in the distance. Thankfully, those voices sound much happier than the ones in the bar they just fled from.
Billy removes his Stetson, revealing the silver pin in his hair, and wipes the sweat off his forehead with his arm before placing the hat back on. He straightens out his shirt and vest as best he can, but he's fairly certain that there might be a few red stains on his shirt from blood droplets.]
This way.
[He motions in one direction of the alleyway with a jerk of his head before walking down as though he was just out for a stroll, shoulders relaxed and eyes straight ahead. He's only been here for one day (not counting the time spent in the hospital), but Billy thinks he remembers there being a small park up where they were heading, quiet and a safe distance from the bar. He didn't want to return to his lodging until he had a chance to have a proper talk with Faraday. He hasn't forgotten about the questions he wants to ask him.]
